Lyngsoe Systems has introduced the benefits of its Intelligent Material Management System™ (IMMS) together with our customer Soenderborg Library in Denmark, by sharing its key functionalities at the company’s IMMS introductory event in the spring.
IMMS complements the existing ILS/LMS and creates an unprecedented level of transparency in your material flow.
IMMS was developed in close cooperation with Copenhagen and Aarhus Public Libraries. This user-involvement approach has helped us produce many easy-to-use, yet highly time- and resource-saving solutions. In fact, the development of IMMS follows that tradition of leveraging open dialogue with our existing customers and libraries to learn how our technology can provide the greatest benefits.
IMMS brings modern logistics to libraries like no solution before it. It helps libraries manage their floating collections, find the current location of requested media and manage shelves. The solution enables libraries to control where and how to make best use of their collection, including the sharing of media, by steering the floating collections to the place where media is needed the most. And the IMMS utilizes the available ILS/LMS to add the additional intelligence.
To introduce and demonstrate the solution and to gain feedback from our most important partners – the technology users -- we invited Danish libraries to attend our IMMS introductory event. We were delighted to have libraries from across Denmark join this event to learn more about IMMS and get valuable inputs from all attendees.
