The tracking platform needed to have the capability and complexity to support multiple use cases (40 are identified) as well as huge amounts of data. Utilizing Lyngsoe Systems' long experience with RFID technology and complex problem solving, the tags are carefully selected and attached to equipment, beds, staff, items etc. and tracked by fixed mounted antennas throughout the complex. This makes it possible to find out, where a specific thing is located within more than 2000 rooms. The RFID-based tracking installation is the largest of its kind in the world.
