The mailbox collection control module includes a tracking system that enables automated and objective documentation of mailbox collection, including information as to whether the collection was performed within the service times posted to the public - with no additional manual or administrative burden on postal staff. This module also enables monitoring of on-time collection of mailboxes when the task is outsourced to third parties.
If a mailbox has not been emptied, a warning will appear and the error can be corrected without interfering with production. Thus, this unique tool ensures efficient mailbox collection, leading to satisfied customers and a more reliable image.
Easy management information for follow-up procedures and benchmarking
The QSM Operations module for mailbox emptying also provides you with a range of management information for documenting the level of quality, e.g. for follow-up procedures and benchmarking between different areas, locations and routes or ensuring an optimal arrival profile at mail centers by establishing extraordinary collection of important mailboxes. Furthermore, this module is able to leverage the image of the “traditional” mailbox by electronically publishing the actual time of collection via a public web.
This software solution supports tracking of damaged mailboxes and can automatically request service visits, while the tracking part of this module supports easy sampling of mailbox fill rates in order to aid overall planning of collection times and routes.
This module provides customers with a unique tool for ensuring that the emptying of public mailboxes lives up to the service level criteria for postal services and governments as well as how postal services prevent losing important quality percents in the process of mail collecting from mailboxes.
@track – objective data-capture for exact time of collection and delivery
Regardless of whether first mile collection is at the customers’ premises or a public mailbox, it is important for obtaining a high quality standard within the post to be able to document the exact time of collection, and to monitor and measure the general quality of mail box collection/emptying with a system that delivers indisputable documentation. The same is true when it comes to delivery and associated services. @track is an RFID-based system that enables 100% objective data capture without any manual handling. Registrations are made at any point of interest either at the customers’ collection or delivery site, or when a public mailbox is emptied. Apart from documenting PoC emptying and PoD, the @track system also provides valuable information to increase quality of service and balance workload at sorting centres.
