QSM Software User Group Meeting 2009

Postal Solutions have just conducted the seventh User Group Meeting for users of the QSM software where users share experience and discuss new ideas. This year’s User Group Meeting was conducted over two days in Warsaw, Poland.

The first day was devoted to discussions and new ideas concerning the QSM softwareand Niels Wørzner from Post Denmark gave a presentation on Post Denmark’s upgrade process to QSM4 and he finished with the words:
“QSM 4 – do it – the earlier the better”

The second day focused on newly developed software for process monitoring, test study production and management, and a web based service monitor. Different new hardware was also presented and the use of passive RFID technology in the postal business was discussed.

There was also a tour at a Polish Post sorting centre as well a social event in the evening on the first day.

This year’s meeting was very successful and 70% of the participants rated their satisfaction with the meeting 5 (on a scale from 5-1 where 5 is very satisfied and 1 is unsatisfied) and the remaining 30% rated it 4 - so some very satisfied participants.
