28 October 2008: Finding Nemo
Consider three business problems. One: checked baggage. When bags go astray, they must be tracked down, sent on to the right airport, and reunited with their owners, even if that means putting the bag in a taxi and sending it across town. Two: postal mail. When letters go astray in a postal organisation of 200,000 employees, who is to blame? Three: private supply chains, such as food distributed by McDonald's to its European restaurants. If a batch of hamburger meat has to be recalled, how do you find it and get it back?

8 October 2008: Lyngsoe at Job fair in Denmark
On the 8th and 9th of October Lyngsoe Systems A/S once again attended the Job fair DSE in Aalborg. Both days the Lyngsoe stand attracted many visitors - both Danish and foreign students. The students were mostly well-prepared and already knew a lot about the solutions that Lyngsoe Systems offers. The top topic was the RFID solutions that Lyngsoe Systems supplies within food- and product traceability, the postal solution and the new Airport solution in Dubai. During the Fair the students could visit many interesting companies, but it was clear that many of the visitors at the Lyngsoe stand had planned in advance to visit Lyngsoe. The many well planned visits led to some very interesting discussions and also resulted in quite a lot of job applications.

20 August 2008: Minister of food visits Lyngsoe Systems
There is currently great emphasis on food safety and traceability. Consumers demand better food safety and the ability to trace where, for example, the chicken comes from, how it has been processed and not least if it is free of salmonella and other disease-causing bacteria.
Minister of food and agriculture, Eva Kjer Hansen paid a visit to a number of selected companies in the northern part of Denmark on 20 August to put focus on food safety. On her tour she had prioritized a visit to Lyngsoe Systems, which is due to the fact that Lyngsoe Systems has been the front runner in the development of traceability of food and products at large for many years.
The minister was given an insight into the very user-friendly traceability system that Lyngsoe Systems has developed in cooperation with Nordjysk Food Network. The system makes tracking at all levels of the chain possible, including the simplification of reporting, etc. to the authorities, which of course was the minister's keen interest. The minister was also introduced in Lyngsoe Systems' food traceability system, which is a tool to ensure consumers get salmonella-free chickens.
