Library Staff Check-In Units
The staff induction automates and optimizes the return process of items for library staff. If a large number of items are regularly returned to the sorting system e.g. items brought in from branch libraries, it is beneficial for the library to have a dedicated induction point.
Lyngsoe offers specially designed Staff Induction stations that library employees can use to return a large number of items back into circulation. The staff induction is installed and directly connected to the SortMate sorter inside the sorting area and thus only operational by the library staff. The unit can be equipped with a barcode reader or RFID antenna depending on how the library items are marked.
