Ergo Trolley™
The ErgoTrolley™ is used for bulk collection of returned library items.
The ErgoTrolley™ can be used as a collection point on a Lyngsoe sorting system, as a standalone container below a conventional book drop or as a bulk container anywhere in the circulation area.
When included as part of a Lyngsoe sorting system, sensors on the sorter will automatically detect when the trolley is full and signal the operator to replace it with an empty trolley. For stand alone operation, each trolley is provided with simple fill capacity indicators on the side frame. The unique spring design of the floor leveling system reduces the force of impact as items are sorted into the trolley. In addition, the floor will uniformly lower as it fills according to weight loading. During unloading, the trolley floor automatically raises as it is emptied to assure a safe ergonomic working position for library staff.
