Self-service Check-Out and Check-In stations
Lyngsoe is a premier provider of self-service check-in and check-out for libraries. The Lyngsoe Library Mate® series allows patrons to return items around the clock. It also frees patrons from the restrictions of library hours and prevents long queues for library returns. The Library Mate can benefit any library, regardless of size, number of borrowed items, or number of reservations.
The Library Mate series can function as a stand-alone unit or in conjunction with a sorting system. Library staff are thus relieved of the labor-intensive and repetitive motion tasks of handling returned items. As a result, they can spend more time servicing and assisting patrons in other areas.
Staff Check-In station
The staff induction automates and optimizes the return process of items for library staff. If a large number of items are regularly returned to the sorting system e.g. items brought in from branch libraries, it is beneficial for the library to have a dedicated induction point.
