JOB DESCRIPTION

Lyngsoe Systems is currently on a journey of growth and development and we are actively looking for an experienced, structured PLC developer for our products and projects within the logistics sector. 

You will be a key person for the development and maintenance of our PLC products for libraries backed up by competent colleagues within Lyngsoe Systems with technical and specialist knowledge. You will be developing customer specific solutions as add-ons to the current products or as new one-off solutions.
Your colleagues will primarily be other software developers, hardware developers, project managers and external consultants, all with high professional expertise in their fields. Your focus will be to secure the PLC products with development, solution design and component selection over documentation and validation to training and support.


You will be based at Lyngsoe Systems’ headquarters in Aars, and you will be part of our PLC team handling product and customer projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  •          Software development of modules in both existing and new products
  •          Software development in customer projects
  •          Be an active part of the solution through business development to customer service and support
  •          Product definition, development and maintenance where you with software architecture participate in creating input for technical roadmaps

You get to work with different technologies, platforms and methods – primarily Beckhoff.

You may expect to travel in connection with the clarification and commissioning of projects.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  •          You are an engineer, marine engineer or similar within machine or production industry, preferably with experience in Beckhoff and Siemens PLCs
  •          You have substantial experience in PLC software development
  •          You have an understanding of product life cycles from idea creation to end-of-life handling
  •          You are familiar with power circuits, electromechanical components and communication protocols
  •          You are able to maintain focus to meet milestones and deadlines
  •          You function and perform both independent and in teams
  •          You are proactive and well organized with a good sense of detail, and you have good analytical skills
  •          You are systematic and able to communicate abstract chaos in a structured and easy way
  •          You master English at business level or better.
