We specialize in implementing control and track-and-trace systems for optimal passenger, baggage and asset handling. The solutions are dedicated to elevating the passengers’ travel experience and optimizing airport logistics through streamlining operational processes, identifying and removing baggage handling bottlenecks, increasing flow transparency and capacity, and reducing the quantity of mishandled bags, trolleys and other assets.
Lyngsoe Quality Improvement Programme
Taking a holistic view on the airport processes and cooperation with key players on the market is key to our approach to logistics optimization. An essential part of our work is therefore to bring the air transport industry together to discuss and share knowledge. All our activities, from meetings, workshops and summits to consultancy, integration of systems and development of solutions, are part of our focus area; the Lyngsoe Quality Improvement Programme.
BagQuality Network
Far too many passengers have experienced delays with or total loss of their baggage. As well as being a great inconvenience to the passengers, it also represents a huge cost to the industry. Lyngsoe is aiming to reduce the current level of mishandled baggage by 50%.
We will achieve this by improving both the baggage handling processes and the cooperation between the parties engaged in baggage handling. To aid us, we have taken a holistic approach to the entire process, literally reviewing it from end to end.
The BagQuality Network is the result of our holistic approach. It consists of a selection of new BagQuality tools and encourages cooperation between all parties involved within the baggage-handling network.
Bringing the industry together
One of our activities in the program is to bring the industry together at the “Optimizing baggage handling with RFID, Summit”, which we host every year in cooperation with an airport or airline having integrated one of our RFID solutions for baggage handling optimization (RFID on Baggage or ABQM). With involvement from the key players in the air transport industry, including IATA and ACI, points of view on baggage handling challenges emerges from all angles at these events.
Another meeting point for the air transport industry driven by Lyngsoe is our online BaggageQuality forum, where different perspectives of baggage handling quality are being discussed. The forum serves as a meeting and discussion platform for airports, airlines, handlers and air transport associations. The forum is complemented by meetings on a regularly basis and are like the summit held in cooperation with an airport or airline.

Supporting industry standards
Lyngsoe Airport Division is member of the ACI World Business Partner Programme and the IATA partner programme. We take active part in working groups and support the initiatives for standardizations and baggage improvement programmes.
We equip the world with RFID
Through our supply of active and passive RFID solutions, we know what it takes to integrate large RFID-networks to deliver maximum benefits to our customers. We implemented the world’s first RFID-on-baggage solution for Hong Kong International Airport and the first two in Europe for Milan Malpensa Airport and Lisbon Airport. Our RFID development facilities and RFID Test Centres in Denmark, Canada and Romania keep us on the leading edge. We take part in various RFID development projects, such as the SPOPOS project at Copenhagen Airport.
