Lyngsoe Library Systems
Lyngsoe Library Systems, a subsidiary of Lyngsoe Systems, was founded the summer of 2009 after the acquisition of the FKI Logistex Library Solutions business. This along with the acquisition of the Codeco business in autumn 2009 has afforded Lyngsoe the most comprehensive and proven portfolio for self-service systems, sortation systems, RFID, software integration, and daily service and maintenance for library systems.
The Library Solutions team from FKI Logistex Library Solutions and Codeco now operate under the ownership of Lyngsoe Systems.
Per Ravn, Managing Director, Lyngsoe Library Systems A/S states:
“When we made the decision to enter the Library market, we did it with the full intention of delivering the world’s best solutions for the library industry. Lyngsoe has created a robust, well rounded product portfolio that addresses the needs of Libraries today, and we will continue to innovate to address the needs of tomorrow. We have integrated the best from FKI Logistex Library Solutions, Codeco and Lyngsoe’s expertise within RFID and logistics solutions. This incorporation has created the preferred provider of the most
efficient, well designed and user-friendly libraries in the world”.
Lyngsoe has a tradition for long-term customer relationship. It has thus been a natural consequence of the takeover of the library businesses to create new service agreements in order to keep existing products and systems in production.
Codeco was founded in 1984 and was developed to serve the library market. Since the launch in 1990 of library solutions, Codeco has sold more than 1400 self-service systems. These systems have created value for all kinds of public and university libraries. The Codeco products have included RFID-technology since 2005, which is a core technology of Lyngsoe Systems.
